T-L-1Introdtuction to Interface of SolidWorks. Introduction to two-dimensional (2D) sketching. Introduction to terminology, selection of the best profile and sketch plane. Overview of elements, sketch geometry, sketching methodology, sketch relations and design intentions. Discussing the dimensioning methods based on the Polish Standard PN-B-01029: 2000. Discussion of control and dependent dimensions and dimensional manipulation. Mastering the rules of creating simple sketches on planes and on planar walls. Sketches defined and undefined. Mastering simple solid operations such as extending the addition / base, extrude the cut and adding / base by rotation. Import vector drawings from other graphics programs. Simple operations on imported sketches: engraving and embossing. View options and display modes. Introduction to sketching using symmetry and correct dimensioning of parts. Initial introduction to linear, circular pattern and mirror operations. Creating a 2D drawing on sheets. Discussion of properties in drawings, indication of correct dimensioning, project recording in the appropriate format. Understanding the basics of PhotoView360 – visualization settings.30
